Cave, corral, bag…… This puzzle type has many names. Anyways, I think I have managed to create a puzzle using an interesting solving technique.
The first round of the Puzzle Grand Prix is coming this weekend, from January 31- February 3. Those interested in competing for the World Puzzle Championship in August should participate, as we will be using Grand Prix result to select our team members. The competition can be found at http://www.gp.worldpuzzle.org/.
Let’s try this again. This is my first attempt at a giant puzzle. As far as I can tell, it is quite hard and parts of it involve some nasty tricks. Unfortunately, I made a stupid mistake in blowing up the grid, so my previous version of the puzzle was invalid as a masyu. This is now fixed, and the difficulty of the puzzle in a few places was increased.

After several weeks of work, I have finally got my puzzle drafting tool to a state that is ready for release. The current version of the tool can be found under the Puzzle Maker page of this blog. As of now it supports puzzle drafting for 7 puzzle types, and solution checking for 3. I will be continually adding more puzzle types and features as time permits.
If you have any bugs, comments, or feature requests, please leave a comment on the blog and I will respond as soon as I can.
P.S. I am also going to be updating my old posts to contain the new pictures from this version of Puzzle Maker, as well as links to solutions.
