Puzzle #53 – Pentomino Minesweeper

I liked how this one turned out. Should be fairly easy to start, but hard to finish. Funny that it has 1 more clue than the previous 2 puzzles, despite looking more sparse.

Rules:
The set of pantominoes used in this puzzle is the full set of 12. (FILNPTUVWXYZ)

Puzzle #51 – Masyu (All White)

Another relative easy puzzle. I probably won’t be making any large or hard puzzles for a little while. Just easy to moderate ones until things settle down a bit.

Standard Masyu Rules. Additionally, all possible white circles are placed in the puzzle. ie. If the path goes through a square without a white circle, then it must either turn on that square, or go straight in both of the squares adjacent to it.

Puzzle #45 – Checkered Fillomino

This is an interesting variant that I saw in a few places, including GM Puzzles and the 24HPC. I feel like there’s a lot that I can do with this type.

P.S. New WordPress editor is trash. It doesn’t let you copy a post like the old one. Good thing the old editor is still available via some arcane URL.

Rules:
Standard Fillomino rules. Additionally, it must be possible to shade some regions so that no two regions of the same colour are adjacent to each other.

Puzzle #20 – Masyu (All White)

My second puzzle in my attempts to make variations, and to make up for not posting a puzzle on Monday. This one is the opposite of Puzzle #19 – Masyu (All Black), and is probably harder as well. Despite taking several tries to get it right, I am quite pleased in how it turned out. Unlike the All Black, it is feasible to construct an All White puzzle without using any black circles at all. Furthermore, this puzzle heavily uses the rule that all white circles are marked.

Standard Masyu Rules. Additionally, all possible white circles are placed in the puzzle. ie. If the path goes through a square without a white circle, then it must either turn on that square, or go straight in both of the squares adjacent to it.
